My first stay at a Homewood Suites turned me into a fan of the chain. The staff were warm and smiling everywhere I went, and breakfast was very good, especially the taco bar. The rooms were spacious and clean, if a little dated, and comfortable. I’ll be back for sure.

I’ve been staying here for a few weeks. The pool is well maintained, but it’s poorly lit at night. My biggest reason for choosing the Homewood chain is that I cook, and on my last stay there was no frying pan. The front desk guy was very nice but couldn’t help, and seemed like a new hire left on his own. The next morning I asked again, and other staff kindly left a pan in my room. There’s also an old smell in the room, noticeable but not unbearable. Ventilation could be better: cooking fumes linger, the windows don’t open, and the fan just recirculates the air.

There’s plenty of parking, and the hotel is a short distance off the highway. Staff were helpful, and breakfast is offered in the morning. I hope to come back when I’m in the area.

The hotel is well cared for, the breakfast was great, and the staff were fantastic. This was my first stay at a Homewood Suites, and it’s now my favorite brand. I’ll try to find one whenever I travel.

A roach in the cabinet with the glasses made my husband and me very unhappy with our stay. I was ready to leave, but unfortunately we couldn’t. They moved us to another room and said they’d tell the manager. We asked to have our used points refunded and have to wait until Monday to hear what happens. This is a first for us with Hilton. We’re Gold status members and usually book with Hilton, but Homewood Suites in Ocala FL needs improvement.
