Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ocala

The interstate noise was my biggest issue. I don't usually have that kind of traffic noise, so it was hard to ignore. If you find it soothing, you might like it. Otherwise, bring earplugs, or pick some up at the Tractor Supply next door like I probably would if I stayed again. We chose Microtel while traveling with our large camper because it was convenient to park nearby. The room was comfortable, the hotel clean, the service great, and the staff friendly. It's reasonably priced and comfortable, though it isn't a five-star hotel.

The jacuzzi room at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ocala was clean and comfortable, and the jacuzzi was just right for unwinding after a long day. Check-in went smoothly, the staff were friendly, and it felt like great value. It exceeded my expectations, and I'd definitely return.

I stayed there on Dec 24,25, and the room was mediocre at best. There was a coffee maker but no cups, and I found several long black hairs dried on the tub floor when I went to shower. Breakfast was cold cereal, an unripe banana, milk, apple juice, and a bagel. There were grounds in the coffee. People were attending the area, but it felt more like breakfast police. In a year, this Microtel went from a solid 9 to an unacceptable 2.

After a long day of construction work in Ocala, I wanted a warm shower. I've been here for work all week, but I keep getting the runaround about when the hot water will be fixed. Five times I've been told to call back in an hour and that it'd be fixed by then, and it hasn't happened. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this hasn't been a good stay. I'd have given one star if the rooms weren't decent and the AC working fine.
