I had a really bad experience checking out. My stay was from March 1 to March 2, and this is a shady place with a lot of traffic all night. The owner had my deposit and accused me of throwing a towel in the trash. I said I hadn't and asked to see it. He said his housekeeper would send him a picture and called it a medium towel. He also said there was a stain on the sheet, then asked me to go back to the room with him. On the bathroom floor next to the trash can, the maid had left a washcloth. I didn't put it there, and I don't know how it got in the trash can. He asked whether he should charge me $10 or $15 for the washcloth. The sheet had a stain about the size of a half dollar, maybe faded, dried blood or possibly a scratch from my leg. I don't know, and I thought bleach could have taken care of it. Instead of explaining anything, the owner deducted $45 from my deposit. I told him that was completely unfair. I wouldn't trust him with another deposit or stay there again. Don't take your kids or family there, it's not that kind of hotel. I wish I didn't have to write this. I don't usually leave reviews, so this is probably way too long, and I don't know if anyone will read it.
