The quick front desk service and the location were the only things I liked. I needed somewhere for one night, and nearby hotels and inns were sold out, so I stayed here. I can see why this was the only option left. The room looked alright when I first opened the door, but it wasn't maintained. There was a musty smell, cracked and damaged molding, dents in the walls, and an AC that banged loudly at random and woke me several times. I eventually turned it off so I could sleep. Then I found a cockroach on the bed pillow. Thank goodness I had brought my own, because I wasn't going to use theirs. I checked the bed and under the sheets before I felt okay sleeping there, and hoped there weren't bed bugs. The tub barely drained, the hair dryer didn't work, and several towels were stained. Soap from the dispenser had spilled across the sink, counter, wall, and floor before I arrived. It made me feel like nobody had checked the room before guests came.

We'd definitely stay again. Our room was clean and comfortable, and Liza was so kind and welcoming. She works hard to keep everyone happy.

The location was handy, close to other parts of town and just two doors down from the Omelette Factory. I stayed Saturday night in early April, and the price was reasonable. The room was very clean, the beds felt fresh, and I slept well before continuing my travels. The bath and sink were clean, though they could use an update, or at least some waterproof paint touch-ups on the ceiling. A previous guest had broken the floor lamp switch. The TV and desk area could use better wiring, with one wall outlet short; moving the coffee maker to the back wouldn't help, since there isn't enough power there either. Still, I'd stay again.

Liza was top notch. She made us feel welcome and sorted out the couple of problems we had with the people upstairs, and after that there were no more issues. The room was a decent price and the location is convenient to the Village of Ogunquit and its beach. The driveway hadn't been plowed or salted, which caused a problem. It was a decent stay overall, though the place could use fresh paint and a good tidy-up before next season.

We hope we can visit again. It's a cute, clean motel in a cozy town with a beautiful beach, and the service was very accommodating.
