Scotch Hill Inn

The owners, Anthony and Rita, are friendly, dedicated hosts, and the attention to detail makes this place especially welcoming. There were comforters on the porch and homegrown garden vegetables at breakfast. The breakfast portions were almost too much, but everything tasted so good. Rooms were very clean, no sand in the shower, and the AC was already running before we arrived on a scorching hot day, which we really appreciated. We spent two nights at the Scotch Hill Inn, and it was our best stay in a long time. We were a little concerned at first by the small number of online reviews, but it seems regulars may be keeping this place a secret. Service went well beyond what we expected. Towels, chairs, and drinks were available for beachgoers, while books, movies, and an intimate garden were there for anyone staying in.

Breakfast was the highlight, and it came with the stay. I was in Room 2, which was comfortable and had everything I needed. The bathroom is small, but the shower stayed warm and had great pressure. Anthony was very personable, and his mom was lovely too. The house was just right for my time in Ogunquit. I’d stay again if I’m back in the area.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and my wife and I felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and air conditioning. Scotch Hill Inn made for a cozy stay in Ogunquit, and I’d recommend it.

The B&B is an easy walk from the town center, and the hosts clearly care about both their guests and their home. The rooms with king-size beds were excellent. We especially liked the welcoming feel, the great spaces, and the comfortable mattresses, which reminded us of the legendary Westin Hotel beds. Highly recommend.
