Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Oklahoma City - Quail Springs, OK

We were so disappointed, especially since Country Inn and Suites used to be our preferred hotel. The room didn’t feel ready for us, and we didn’t leave a tip. The pillows were only half size and pretty useless, so bring your own. The toilet flushed very slowly. That was only for #1, we used the public laboratory in the lobby for #2. The in-room coffee maker didn’t work either. Getting into the room was a whole ordeal. We were given one key for two people because the desk clerk said they didn’t have enough cards. It didn’t work at the end of the third-floor hallway, so we went back down to have it reactivated. It still failed when we returned. We asked the clerk to bring a card and help us in. She came up and treated us like idiots. Coffee was cold and stale in the lobby when we checked in. When we pointed that out, the clerk said she was too busy to make fresh coffee. The coffee in the breakfast room was cold the next morning too, though we did find hot coffee in the lobby. I guess the morning desk girl wasn’t too busy.

The staff were super friendly, the room was clean, and breakfast had good options. We got a huge suite at a great rate. It felt a bit bare, though, and could use another chair or two, a couple pictures, and some everyday utensils in the kitchenette. That’s the only reason I knocked off a star.

I was here on a business trip. The room was well kept and clean, but there wasn’t a clock. I mentioned it to Charles, the GM, and he brought one over. He said millennials don’t like clocks, so they keep them available on request. I’d stay again.

The room was really nice, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful stay and plan to come back next time I’m in the city.
