Hyatt Place Oklahoma City / Bricktown

The location near Bricktown restaurants and attractions is a plus, and the rooms looked modern, clean, and comfortable, with a decent layout. But for the price, I expected more convenience and amenities. Parking was very expensive, there were no courtesy bottled waters, and the microwaves were out in the common hallway by the elevators instead of in the rooms. The room phone didn't work, so I had to use my cell to call the front desk and alternate ways of communicating. It's a decent option if being in this location and having a nice-looking room are your priorities. If you're paying for higher-end amenities and extra value, you may feel let down.

Nachel (spelling?? Sorry) at the front desk and Ivor in valet made our visit so enjoyable. Nachel was friendly and had great suggestions for things near the hotel. Using the valet app was really convenient, and our car was always brought around when we needed it. The pool was warm and clear, and everything was clean. We had an amazing experience, and the location was great for walking everywhere.

Nicholas Allen gave excellent valet service. He was welcoming and quick, and seemed to take pride in his work. Drop-off and pickup went smoothly, and my car was returned just as expected. He made a great first and last impression. The front desk staff were also polite and helpful with military logging.
