Sandstone Ridge Apartments Remodeled 6 Bedroom 4 Bath

The apartment itself is great: recently renovated, with an in-unit washer and dryer. Maintenance responds quickly, management is easy to reach, and communication is good. I'd love to give the complex five stars, but the noise from upstairs travels straight into first-floor units. I work from home, and footsteps, conversations, sweeping, furniture scraping, heavy stomping, running, and creaking can get distracting and really annoying. If the lease required rugs where upstairs residents keep furniture, or those units had carpet instead of hardwood, this would be an easy five-star place.

The apartments have been fully renovated, with new drywall, cabinetry, and floors, not just a fresh coat of paint. They're clean, and the property is quiet. Maintenance takes care of concerns promptly. Elisabeth, the property manager, is wonderful: she communicates clearly, responds, and is always ready to help residents. Best place to lease.

I hate writing negative reviews, but want to be honest. I've lived here a while. The apartments are cute and comfortable, and maintenance is absolutely amazing. That's where the good stuff ends. The walls are so thin that I can hear neighbors sneeze and even use the toilet. I've lived in seven apartments and never heard that before. The manager says it's normal apartment noise, but she also admitted there isn't a concrete layer between the floors. I only learned that after moving in, and it explains why you can hear everything. Parking is still a problem despite the added spaces. If you get home at midnight or later, be ready to figure it out yourself. There are also lots of neighbors smoking weed. You can smell it inside your apartment and when passing their doors, so coming home to that smell is no fun. I've reported it to the manager several times. She says she'll talk to the neighbor, but it keeps happening, so apparently it isn't a deal breaker here. Hope this helps someone.

I drove an hour through traffic for a 6:00 tour after setting it up on the phone. Nobody showed up. I waited 15 minutes and called several times, with no answer. The first time I called, I’d gone to voicemail twice, but that didn’t seem like a big deal then. Thanks for making the decision easy: this apartment isn’t for me.
