SureStay Hotel by Best Western Oklahoma City West

I didn't even stay in the room because it was so gross, and they refused to refund me. I was already questioning my safety when I arrived. At first the room looked okay, but then I saw dried blood on the bed and found towels with dried blood, while the others were dirty too. The so-called breakfast was stale toast, muffins that were days old, coffee, and orange juice. Don't waste your money here. Spend the extra $15-$20 for an actual nice hotel.

I booked online and reached the property about five minutes later, then checked in right away. This wasn't an advance booking. Even though I had specifically requested a non-smoking room, the cigarette odor inside was so strong and persistent that I found the room uninhabitable. I lasted only a couple of minutes before leaving. After stepping outside briefly, I also noticed suspicious activity around the property and felt unsafe. I told the front desk immediately that I couldn't stay, then left and slept in my car. They said management would review my refund the next day, but it still hasn't been processed, including the promised one-night refund, despite Booking.com being involved. Calls went unanswered and communication became extremely difficult. I didn't stay overnight, reported the problem right away, and the room wasn't what I'd expect from non-smoking accommodation. I've tried to resolve this directly and professionally with the property, Booking.com, and the payment provider. If this isn't settled promptly, I'll pursue all available ways to recover my money. I hope management finally handles this properly.

Bugs were crawling around the room, the sheets were ripped, and when I lifted the mattress to check for bed bugs, I found old underwear from a previous guest. It makes me think they don't clean much between stays. Service was okay, but breakfast barely existed, just a couple slices of bread and coffee. This place isn't worth it, beware.

I stayed two nights and was happy with the accommodation. The rooms were clean, the towels seemed well washed and had no smell, and breakfast was good. The people at reception were nice and explained things clearly.
