I was there for three weeks on a long detail, and Ana Matos at the front desk impressed me every evening. Her attitude and personality always shone through. She explained everything and represented the hotel with pride, class, and dignity. In 30 years of Law Enforcement, I've never met anyone like her. I've stayed at ultra five-star hotels, and she was seven-star. She'd be a great fit for management.

I spent four weeks here in a clean, nice suite with a kitchenette. The fridge stayed cool but never quite cold enough, and the couch wasn't very comfortable. Still, I enjoyed the room. Breakfast is served downstairs in the main lobby. It was just okay, the same items every morning, mostly set up for breakfast sandwiches. Staff were nice, and the room service ladies worked hard to keep things clean. I appreciated them. The location is ideal, close to lots of downtown and midtown spots. I'd stay again if I'm back in Omaha.

The app made both check-in and checkout easy, and it opened the electronic door locks too, so there was no need for cards. Underground parking was great, though it can get crowded or unavailable when the hotel is full. Breakfast was just okay, all premade and bland, but the coffee was good. The rooms were clean and organized, and the temperature controls for heat and AC worked well. Road noise was very loud in our room on the street side, especially near the outside intersections. Some rooms, particularly handicap rooms, don't have enough outlets for desk work, and the lamps have no outlets either. That's inconvenient if you're trying to work in the room. The shower water was warm to hot with good pressure. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and Grubhub delivers. Front desk snacks and drinks, which are billed, can run out quickly, but there's a grocery store and fast food close by. You can check in or out with the app, or drop your key at the front desk.

I booked this motel for my daughter's wedding because the site said parking was free. I arrived Friday afternoon without my car, and told the front desk it would come the next day. He said to get a parking pass then, no problem. Getting to my room meant walking 130 steps from the elevator, which was ridiculous with my injury and all my bags. The TV only had two channels. After checkout, I was charged $30 for parking, $15 a day. When I called, the guy who answered said they'd just started charging because people from UNMC kept using their parking. So paying guests get charged instead of them stopping non-guests from parking there. This wasn't advertised on the site. It felt like bait and switch and, to me, against federal law. I'm not happy with the stay and won't return.
