The Peregrine Omaha Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton

We had a great view of the courtyard from our window, and the room and bathroom were both really nice. The hall and room design has a cool theme, and there's a fun rooftop bar. It's the kind of hotel where you can enjoy spending time even when you're just hanging out. One of the best places we've stayed, especially for the price.

My sister, my mother, and I stayed here during a family emergency, and the hotel gave us a peaceful place to catch our breath. The front desk staff were amazing, especially Nori and Melodie, who were there for most of our stay. They represented the hotel so well, and I can't imagine asking for two better people. The rooms are beautiful, too. The water pressure on the sixth floor was pretty poor. I was exhausted and didn't mention it at the time, so I didn't give them a chance to fix it.

I got in late after flight delays, but the kitchen let me call ahead and order dinner before closing so I could pick it up warm when I arrived. They were gracious about it, and the food was delicious. I've stayed at places that make you feel bad for ordering near closing time, and this wasn't like that at all. The downstairs space was inviting, and it was nice to sit with a drink or chat at the bar. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The front desk woman and bartender were professional, courteous, and prompt. I'd happily spend money on the food and drinks here, and will stay again for work or for fun.

Melodie was a big help throughout our stay, and Dana was lovely too. We were arriving by Amtrak, and she let us check in very early and showed us the rooftop bar before it was open. The location worked really well: quiet just off the main path, but close to everything we wanted to see in Omaha. The only issue was the shower, which swung between scalding hot and ice cold, with mediocre pressure. Maybe it was the cold weather. We'd still stay again.
