Motel 6 Omaha - IAT West

After a 13-hour shift, I just needed somewhere simple to sleep and shower, and this motel did the job. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was hot, and housekeeping made the room and bed up every day. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I’d read both good and bad reviews, but I didn’t see any bugs inside. The smoking area was outside and didn’t bother me. The property is being renovated, but I saw or heard no signs of it during my stay. I’m glad I chose Motel6 IAT and will keep staying here while work brings me to the area.

I paid $80 for one night and got no peace. Two dogs across the hall barked nonstop from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. Their owner had been arrested in the parking lot, leaving them alone all night, and nobody at the front desk seemed to care. People were also loitering around the cars in the parking lot and smoking illegal plants in front of my family. If you want peace and quality, probably stay somewhere else.

Avoid this place. The walls are thin, and when I stayed on Valentine’s Day the front desk guy was asleep and clearly on something. I’d already paid for two nights through booking.com, but he charged me again anyway. There are better options for the price.

Looks can fool you here. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the beds are amazing. The staff are wonderful and make you feel at home. If you need anything, they go out of their way to help. I’d choose this place for the service over any other hotel.
