Motel 88

I flew in from CA and booked three nights. After the first night, I woke up sick and found the AC filters were filthy and moldy. When I asked the staff for my money back, she called the police. This was happening while I was rushing to my father's burial service. They still won't refund me, and Booking.com couldn't do much to help. I spent the rest of the trip sick in bed and now have to fly home feeling this way.

Staff were really friendly, and the place is just five minutes from everything you need. If you're headed to Cooperstown Allstate Village, it's a great affordable place to stay.

We found one of the cleanest hotels around on short notice, and the price was great. We'd read some other reviews after booking our two rooms and were really surprised. They might be a bit short-staffed, but aside from that it was great. The older man who checked us in was very kind and even offered to show us the room first.

I stayed here in 2022 during an autumn road trip to Maine and had a fun time. It felt like a sketch from Family Guy. Pizza Land and lots of other places were an easy walk away. I'm looking forward to returning this year.
