The room could have been cleaner, which was my one negative. But the gym was useful, the shower pressure was great, and I hope to return for a bath and to try the pool. Breakfast was surprisingly good, and even the other guests were friendly. We visited after a snowstorm, which made parking difficult and deliveries unpredictable. The valet was accommodating and easy to work with; bring cash to tip them, because their kindness deserves it. I thought valet was worth every penny. There's also a 711 and food spots close by, a Metro station not too far away, probably street parking when there's no snow, and a day lot across the street. The front desk crew were the friendliest people I met in DC. Jermaine made check-in seamless, and a woman in the morning suggested things to do nearby. They made both check-in and the insurance stay checkout easy. The GM store stopped to say hello on his way in, and I could tell he cared about the guests and staff. Whenever I called, the desk was helpful. I'd recommend this place to anyone staying in DC, and I'll be back.

Getting around was easy, with the nearest Metro station about a seven-minute walk away. The room was spacious and functional, though the TV felt dated and had no casting. The lobby wasn't dirty, but its upkeep seemed average rather than especially good. There was no complimentary water in the room, which seems more common these days. For the price, it was a decent enough stay, nothing fancy.

Andrew and Jerome were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful from the moment we arrived. The staff were lovely, and we'd stay again. Breakfast was always delicious and served nice and hot. Our room was clean and comfortable, with great city views. It was also easy to explore from here, with the Metro just a quick five-minute walk away. We had an incredible stay.

Our family couldn't stay at the hotel at all. It was a terrible, frustrating experience, and I wouldn't recommend it. The first room, 704, was very hot because the air conditioning wasn't working properly. It also smelled strongly and was extremely dusty, so we asked to move. Room 310 was worse, with dust in every corner, visible stains on the carpet and sofa, and rust on the towel rack. It was clear the room wasn't being properly cleaned or maintained. We contacted Booking about a refund and were told it was up to the hotel manager. After trying to sort it out for a while, the front desk clerk said only the first night would be refunded, explaining that hotel policy disallows refunds if guests have stayed in the room more than 30 minutes. We hadn't used anything; we were there only to resolve the problem.
