We stopped here overnight while crossing the country. The staff were kind and helpful, and there are plenty of places to get food and gas nearby, which made it handy on the route. The room wasn't the worst I've seen, though there were cigarette burns on the bed. The bathroom door looked as if someone had pried it open, and I'd rather not know the story behind that.

The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and polite, so I have no complaint about him. The room, though, was filthy. There were tampon wrappers in the tub, broken drug paraphernalia in the bathroom, old grime, and used soap in the tub. It looked like the tub hadn't been cleaned in ages. I've never stayed in a dirtier motel. I tried contacting the front desk and got no response. It's extremely frustrating, and I'll be filing a complaint with corporate.

The location is very convenient, with fast food right nearby and the big attractions an easy, quick drive or Uber ride away. It was a very cheap stay, and I can see why. The room was gross from top to bottom, covered in stains and filth. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed, with crumbs and dirt all over it. The bedding had burn holes and awful stains, the towels had questionable marks, and grime was on every wall and even the ceiling. One stain above the toilet paper holder made me wonder if it was human poo. The shower curtain was covered in black mildew, and two laminated sheets advertising local pickup and delivery were literally glued together. I can confirm there were no bed bugs. Nobody offered me the motel WiFi password, which is usually on the key card or somewhere in the room. Check-in made me feel like a burden, so I didn't call to ask. A broken-down van covered with tarps and plastic was parked right beside me, and someone had a dog in the room that barked nonstop. No peace or quiet. I checked out a day early and didn't even ask for my $50 back. I wasn't going to waste time trying to get a refund. I'd rather pay $50 to get the hell out of there. Heed my warning.

What a shame, since the location is decent. We'd normally had good experiences with Motel 6, so we stayed here before going through a mountain area. In the first room, the wall was covered in mold and the smell was strong. They moved us to another room, supposedly the last one available, even though the parking lot was nearly empty. That room smelled better, but there was still mold, a roach, a dirty curtain, and mushrooms growing out of the walls. I couldn't find anyone to get a refund and leave, so we toughed it out and got maybe two hours of sleep. With all those health code violations, they offered only 30% off. Never again.

The non-smoking room's blankets were full of cigarette holes. There was trash lying around in the dirty room, too. They said WiFi was included, but we never got a code, and it was too late in the evening to ask.
