Budget Inn Ontario

I've stayed in hotels often and never had problems like this. The floors were dirty, the blanket was stained, itchy, and outdated, and the AC was trash. The owner and front desk men were rude and tried to scam me, blatantly insulting my intelligence. My husband and I grabbed our things and went across town to the Sleep Inn, which cost half as much and was ten times cleaner and more comfortable. This place is nasty and barely qualifies as a hotel. Travelers, beware. Don't book at the front desk or through their website. Third party prices really piss them off.

The owners have put a lot of effort into updating the place and clearly care about guests having a nice stay. For $60, as long as you're reasonable and don't expect the Ritz, it's a great spot. It's clean, there are no creeps in the parking lot, and it's a decent place to rest along the way.

The location is a plus if you want to be near the bars, but the dirty room wasn't worth what we paid. The sheets had lots of hair, dirt, and stains, and looked as if someone had slept in the bed for months. One wall had blood and snot smeared on it. The towels were old and dirty, the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in months, and the toilet seat fell off. This place was a dump. It could be a nice place to stay if the owners and staff took some time to keep things fresh, clean, and nice. We also bought food from the little store, but the candy bars were past their sell-by date, from February 2021. Don't waste your money staying here.

The rooms are very clean, the bathroom is tidy, and service is fast. Just for the sake of argument, toilet paper goes over, not under. 🙈🙉🙊
