Orange Tustin Inn

A no-fuss hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. No bells and whistles, just a quiet, drama-free stay. Good location, lots of parking, and the prices were fair.

Everything I needed was in the room, and it was very clean. The location worked great for me, and I’d consider staying again. I called ahead because I was hoping to check in earlier than expected. The woman, whose name I think was Dina, was friendly and said my room would be ready by noon. She was at the desk when I arrived, got me checked in quickly, and gave me the Wi-Fi code. She even warned me to watch out for the pillars near some parking spaces.

After a three-day drive across the country, I chose this hotel because it was close to my family, whom I hadn’t seen in five years. I’d booked six days for a graduation over Memorial Day weekend, but left after three. The rooms are decent, but there was fighting and screaming every night. Within 15 minutes on the first day, a woman came up and told me she wasn’t an alcoholic, she was just drunk. I managed to get away after a few minutes. By the third night, after more screaming and fighting and zero sleep, I couldn’t take it anymore. I told the front desk I was leaving. She offered another room in the very small hotel, but no. She is running a homeless residence, which is fine, but should not run a hotel and cheat unsuspecting travelers out of their money. The other guests were drunks and people on drugs, sitting in cars after hours, fighting, slamming doors, and making the place miserable for travelers. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone except people who need a permanent place to live and can’t afford an apartment on little or no income. I also recommend all hotel booking sites remove Orange Tustin Inn from their listings. My trip was ruined, including my time with my grandchildren. I cried for the first days of the drive home.

The motel had a relaxed feel and was a comfortable place to unwind after a busy day. My room was spotless and felt cozy, and the staff kept checking that I had what I needed. They greeted me warmly when I arrived and were friendly and helpful throughout my two-day stay. I’d highly recommend it if you want a peaceful, comfortable place to stay.
