Extended Stay America Select Suites - Orlando - South

I won’t stay here again or recommend it. There was a terrible smell throughout the hotel, including the room, and the elevator was disgusting. The toilet looked stained and not properly cleaned, there was hair stuck to the bathtub, and the refrigerator had technical problems. The staff were extremely rude. Kenny especially dealt with our problems with total ignorance and disrespect. Even one star feels like too much for this dump.

I’m writing this from the lobby. The sheets were stained and had pubic hair on them, and no one was answering the lobby phone, even though it said to stay on the line and a paper in front of it promised a call representative. I finally got someone to bring clean sheets and went to change them. Underneath were black and yellow stains from bodily fluids, or who knows what. I emailed the Health Department. This is unforgivable, not a simple oversight. Please don’t come here. The rooms are unsanitary, and there’s no help when you need someone to change the sheets.

After losing our home in a house fire, we were displaced again less than six months later when our rental flooded. We chose this extended stay because we already lived in the area, and my children go to middle school and high school around the corner. Our pets loved every moment here, too. Kenneth the manager, Tracy, Rose, and the whole staff treated us with more respect than I’ve experienced in years. The accommodations were easy, the place was pet friendly, very clean and organized, and everyone in staff and room services was professional and didn’t judge us. As someone in the medical field and living with a disability, I’m grateful to everyone at your South Orlando location. My family loved our stay. I’d recommend the hotel suites and location every time, even if I needed somewhere to live again.

I always feel at home here because of the friendly staff. Maintenance greets you on his morning walk, Rose never forgets to say hello when you come in, and Kenny makes sure everything is going smoothly. The location works perfectly for me, near I Drive and shopping. This is my go-to when I need a place to stay in Orlando. 10/10.
