Coral Sands Inn

This was a reasonably priced, well-kept lodging campus with an old Florida feel. It dates from the 1940s and includes a five-story hotel, RV sites, and several charming cottages. The staff were efficient and friendly, and the beach access was wonderful for long walks or runs. I’d definitely return.

We were very happy with our stay and will probably book here again. The view from the room was excellent, and the huge pool was a hit with my child. It was great being able to walk straight onto the beach. The maintenance guy was super friendly and gave us great advice on where to eat and where to avoid. Front desk service was great and friendly too. This place suited us perfectly for our Florida trip. It’s an old building, and some things in the rooms are old as well, so don’t expect a fancy new hotel. Still, it’s well cared for, very clean, and everything worked. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The room had a damp, musty ocean humidity smell, but not a dirty smell, and the ceiling fan was a little noisy. That might not bother most people, but I’m the kind of person who pulls over to track down every little rattle in the car.

Caden at the front desk made check-in easy and was helpful and welcoming. A few hours later, I lost my parking pass, and he kindly replaced it. The room was clean, and the location couldn’t be better. I travel often for work and stay in dozens of hotels. Too often, the welcome and check-in feel perfunctory, but not here. A hotel depends on the people representing it, and Caden is an excellent representative of the brand. Five stars for the service alone. Give him a raise!

I’ve stayed here for years whenever I’m in the Daytona or Ormond Beach area, and this is where I keep coming back. The staff are always super friendly, helpful, and eager to assist. The rooms and property are consistently clean, and it’s just a really nice place to stay. They have hotel rooms, RV spots for campers, and cute little bungalows.
