Quality Inn Oshkosh Aviation Park

Really beautiful hotel, and the room had lots of space and looked great. It was quiet at night, and the hot tub room was everything. Service and breakfast were both great. I loved the stay and will definitely come back.

We waited more than an hour because our room wasn’t ready when we arrived. Other guests were waiting too, and I heard complaints that rooms smelled of smoke, were dirty, or weren’t ready on time. When we finally got a room, it was dirty: there was something like vomit or semen on the bed skirt, stains on the comforter and chair, and beetles on the ceiling. The room looked generally unclean and disorganized, and we didn’t feel we could sleep in the bed or trust the food. We were getting ready for an event when they put us in what seemed to be an employee room in the back, basically a musty storage room. We left. The front desk woman said there was “nothing she could do.” With places booked up because of games, we drove all the way home after the event.

I was happy with my initial experience and check-in, so I’d left a good review. Now I’m changing it. I asked about staying one extra night, and they quoted $116 for that night in the same room, even though I was paying $160 for two nights. For a Monday in what looked like an empty hotel, that seems awfully high.

The kids loved the breakfast, and the pool area is big. Nice rooms and lobby, too, in a convenient location.
