There’s a reason this place has some of the worst reviews I’ve seen. My wife went down for breakfast and they yelled at her that she could only take two, even though there were four of us in the room. Then they said we could stay until 11:30, but at 11 the housekeepers were knocking on the door and windows, saying we had to leave or they’d call the cops for not checking out on time. We called later to explain what happened, and they put us on a do-not-rent list. I’ve never had that happen before. I tried the Motel 6 next door, but the staff there said this hotel had told them not to rent to us because we were causing trouble. That’s crazy. The ownership is wild, and I’m going to contact corporate with our proof.

We only needed a room for one night after extending our trip, and I regret booking this place last minute instead of adding a night at the hotel we’d checked out of earlier that day. We won’t stay here again. There was obvious water damage in the room. I have asthma, and the damp air made it hard to take a full breath while sitting there. The walls, paint, and baseboards were buckling. The blankets on both beds and the pillowcases also had clear stains. When my husband called to ask for replacements, the worker said they wouldn’t provide clean bedding because we had just checked in. He had to insist and go to the office. Even then, they gave him only two undercovers, and only after he asked, since they’d first offered just sheets. When he asked for blankets, they refused to open a new pack.

We were worn out from traveling all day, so we stayed, but we should have left and lost the money. The room smelled awful and felt creepy. Using the bathroom felt like being in prison. Everything was old, rusty, filthy, and disgusting. The walls were bare and dirty, the bed lumpy, and the sheets were dirty and mismatched. The pillows were tiny, the AC unit was extremely loud, and the windows were filthy inside and out. The old gold curtains had white stains all over them, and there were bugs everywhere. We’ll never return or stay at another Days Inn. A horrible place and experience.

It’s an older hotel, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The heater wasn’t very effective, and I don’t want a coil heater, I’d rather have a normal one. It may be fine in summer, but I wouldn’t choose it for winter. It cost $72 per person for one night, and pets were extra.
