The beach is about an 8 minute walk away, and rooms on higher floors have ocean views. There’s a small kitchen in each room, though nearby stores are scarce, so stop in Raymond or Ocean Park on the way. The living area has a fireplace, a Murphy bed, an extra bathroom, and a large balcony. It’s a small hotel-style building on a hill beside a golf course, in a secluded spot. There’s a pool and fitness area, but both have limited hours. I’d recommend it to couples after a quiet, romantic getaway.

The staff were really friendly, and the lobby popcorn was great. Just don’t plan on eating out on Tuesday or Wednesday.

We paid for a week of relaxing and left before we’d even been there 24 hours. We travel a lot and have never had such a bad experience. Julie at the front desk was a liar and very unprofessional. I could say more, but I’ll leave it there. We’ll never visit this resort again.

If you’re after peace and quiet without rowdy crowds, this is a great place. The rooms have all been updated, but they aren’t soundproof, so you can hear whoever’s walking around upstairs. The pools, workout rooms, and lockers are in a separate building, about a two minute walk from the rooms. Oysterville nearby has great chowder and beer, and showing your wristband gets you BOGO. The beaches are a five minute drive from the resort.
