Super 8 by Wyndham Paducah

Even though I arrived late at night, the staff welcomed me and made check-in easy and stress-free. The property felt safe, quiet, and well-maintained, so I could relax. I slept really well in a bed that was one of the best parts of my stay, and the beautiful breakfast in the morning was a pleasant surprise. The staff stayed polite and attentive throughout. A peaceful, comfortable stay with great hospitality. I’d definitely come back.

The privacy was awful. Staff knocked and opened the door before we could answer, and they walked in on us. They were rude too, huffing and rolling their eyes instead of being friendly. The room was filthy. We had to clean old coffee out of the microwave, where it had boiled over and pooled. I pulled 3 FEET OF HUMAN HAIR from the bath drain. The tub was slimy, with floating grime that I could wipe off with my fingers. Just to see how bad it was, I bought all-purpose cleaner and scrubbed the bath wall. The brush came back BROWN. I took videos but unfortunately can’t post them on Google reviews. And the roaches were impossible to escape. The sheets hadn’t been properly washed either. You could still smell the people who’d slept in them before us, and I mean their butts. There’s a mini fridge and microwave, but they told us we couldn’t take complimentary breakfast to our room. When I checked, I found that you actually can, especially if you’re just taking what you’re eating that morning. They then threatened to charge us for eating outside the public area where they could see us. Breakfast itself was store-bought Danish, muffins, cereal and milk, Pop-Tarts, plus a couple other things. It wasn’t bad. But don’t drink the orange juice or lemonade, they were beyond gross. I don’t recommend staying here. It’s unsanitary, and you don’t get privacy.

The bed was comfy, the water pressure was great, and the place was very clean. Breakfast was decent, with toast, bagels, cereal, c coffee. It’s a little way off the interstate but still not far. Don’t bother walking to the nearby gas station.

The bed was comfortable, and the room stayed quiet. The decorations and furniture looked dated but still worked. The shower was one of the better ones I’ve had in a motel.
