Woodspring Suites Palmdale - Lancaster

I’ve been here a week and it almost feels like home. The beds are clean and suuuuper soft, and I love having a small kitchen with a full-sized fridge and little electric burner to cook on. The front desk staff are really nice and answer questions when you need help. There’s a tiny Laundromat, which is cool, though both washers and dryers cost $3. The location is great, just a short walk to Walmart and other stores. My stay is a 9 out of 10. I’m docking a point because there’s no dining area for breakfast or food, and coffee in the very small lobby isn’t complimentary. You have to pay for a cup, which sucks, but oh well.

There’s a large shopping center right across from the hotel, and the Mall is behind it. They’ve got EV charging stations and a spot for dogs to potty, plus secure entry. My room had a refrigerator and stove, and the whole place was very clean. Alton is a great manager.

The fitness area was nice, and it’s close to restaurants and AV Mall. My room was clean, comfortable, and fairly quiet. The price was very reasonable, though this is definitely a stripped-down place: just two towels and two washcloths, no hand towels, coffeemaker, or facial tissue. You can rent dishes and cookware for the kitchenette. The guests were a real mix, so if that bothers you, stay somewhere else. There’s no pool. They have a new manager who seems very classy and will probably help turn around some past issues.

Rebecca greeted me with a warm smile and was really friendly. She explained the hotel well and made our check-in quick and easy.
