Rodeway Inn Panama City

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels, and this was the second worst. The staff are lazy, the room might get cleaned once a week, and the beds are hard with terrible pillows.

The one decent part was that the guy at the counter was nice. Still, I walked into the room and immediately had that feeling that I didn't want to be there. It's dated and sketchy, with peeling paint, lamps that don't work, and a desk with no chair anywhere. The receptionist being behind glass added to the uneasy feeling. They also require a $60 deposit in cash, but don't tell you before booking. I can't see why that amount is needed, since even stealing everything in the room wouldn't be worth $60. I'd just stayed in a much better room the day before for a lot less. The place looks like it ought to pay people to stay there. If you need a bed, it's passable, but that's about it. And why does any hotel still have smoking rooms?

I booked two nights through booking.com, where it said I'd pay at the property. They charged my card six hours before I arrived, then cancelled the reservation by the time I got to the hotel and refused to honor the booking.om total of $310. They said prices change all the time. I told them peace and hair grease, then went and found a cheaper room at Extended Stay.

We went as a family and were really happy with the experience. The room was huge and very nice for the price, the staff were friendly, and the pool was great too. It's in a good spot, about 10 minutes from pcb and close to anything you might want to get to. I booked through priceline and was impressed. Thanks for such a good stay. I'll definitely make this my spot when I'm in pc.
