Emerald Suites Convention Center

Tami was a delight to deal with: patient, kind, and very professional. She got everything sorted for me quickly, with no problems. The office was tidy and smelled clean, and my room was neat and clean too. Five stars. Keep up the good work, Emerald suites. This is the best suites I've stayed in Las Vegas.

Other than this issue, everyone else is nice, the place is kept clean, and they try to keep the community safe. Security measures could use some improvement, but otherwise things are okay here. I came to pick up my packages with a positive attitude and politely asked the woman working alone in the office for mine. She rudely told me I'd have to wait. When I returned the next day for another delivery, she said, "You people don't know how to wait. I'm the only one working in the office, what do you guys expect me to do?" No one else was in the office to explain that hostility. I don't take it personally, but her attitude is unacceptable. She seems unable to do the job alone and expects other office staff to help with everything. That may be why she's working by herself, but she doesn't seem easy to work with. She needs to change her behavior.

I found a dead cockroach on my first day. They sprayed the unit, and I never saw another one. It also helps to keep your own unit clean. I stayed at this weekly rental for a year and a half and was always treated like a king. The unit was clean and decorated in a modern style, and the bed was especially comfortable. The property is well maintained, and maintenance requests were handled very quickly. The front office staff, Tammy, Lynette, and Helen, are always cheerful. Ms. Tina Jasper manages the property expertly and is friendly and quick to respond to requests or complaints. The prices were excellent, with bigger discounts for longer stays and the best deal for paying monthly. I was surprised by how many tenants had been there long term. I've stayed in other weekly rentals, but they were dumps compared with Emerald Suites Convention.

The pool situation is getting close to unbearable, and I'm not sure we'll come back next time. Too many teens and kids are there without parents in sight, taking over the area until paying visitors can't use it. Security should ask to see a room key or at least make sure there's an adult around. This would be five stars otherwise.
