Ramada by Wyndham Pasadena

The room didn't live up to what the advertising led me to expect. There were exposed wires sticking out of the drywall, big spider webs on the patio walls, and not even any towels in the bathroom. The breakfast was below mediocre, and the building looked run down. At check-in, the clerk was uptight and suspicious, pressing me about how many people would stay because I'd booked a larger room. I was alone, but he made it unnecessarily difficult, trying to play detective and find something that wasn't there. I'd advise taking the extra drive somewhere else. I wouldn't stay here again.

The complimentary breakfast was a really enjoyable start to the day, and I felt the hotel was in a decent, safe area. My stay was good overall. The seating in the room was quite dirty and took away from the comfort. I'd suggest replacing the furniture; that would make the experience much better.

The rooms are comfortable and the location is great. I wanted to check in late, but there wasn't an option, which is why I'm giving it four stars. I understand, though, and hope platinum members like me can get good deals at places like this. I'd definitely recommend the hotel, but don't fall asleep until 11am.

The bathtub was badly stained and super dirty, and the furniture was both outdated and dirty. The sofa had a layer of old gunk on it. At that high price, the service and room quality just don't measure up.
