Royal Inn Motel

The $79 rate plus tax is hard to beat, and I'd definitely recommend staying here. The owners are very friendly and live on the property. Parking is well lit, and you can leave your car right outside your room, which felt safe and convenient. Inside, my room was large and exceptionally clean, with a comfortable king bed, a cute bathroom with modern facilities, plus a fridge and microwave. Everything matched the description.

After a long ride, I called about three hours away and they told me to come on down. They had a key ready when I arrived, along with towels since I'd been caught in the rain. They were lovely folks, gave me a great rate, and suggested I park my bike under the overhang. The room was spotless.

We travel a lot as a family and have spent plenty of nights in motels. This was the nicest room we've stayed in, even though it was probably the cheapest. Honestly, it was nicer than rooms I've paid $150 a night for. The owner was so nice, the room was very clean, and its location worked well for what we were doing.

The lot was immaculate and well lit, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The owner and manager was extremely nice. We stopped for one night and enjoyed it. We wouldn't hesitate to return, and we've decided this will be our motel when we're traveling to Sarasota.
