Sosuite at The Jefferson

The apartment was clean and well maintained, and Fishtown was a great, walkable spot for restaurants and dog-friendly areas. But management and security failures ruined our stay. For three nights, Dec 31-Jan 2, an unauthorized party in another unit brought 20-25 or more people and kept the noise going until 2-4 a.m. On the first night, SoSuite's noise detector alerted them. I immediately said it wasn't us, and management promised to handle it. They didn't. The next night I sent video of a partygoer banging on the supposedly secure entrance for over two minutes. Security was promised within 30-45 minutes but took 90, and nothing was resolved, so I called police. On night three, we were told at 2 p.m. the guests had been evicted. The party started again at 10 p.m. I called police twice, and management barely communicated. The entrance was breached repeatedly, and the advertised 24/7 support was essentially absent when needed. Unit 2's bedroom is right beside the main entrance, so you'll hear people coming and going even on an ordinary night. After the company's response, I should add that the matter was investigated and escalated to its highest levels, with an unsatisfactory result. For two weeks after the stay, I worked with guest experience and sent video and detailed documentation. Their investigation ended in an inadequate partial refund. I contacted the team in real time on all three nights, and their own detector caught the first incident. The problem isn't investigation, it's accountability. The location and cleanliness are good, but management didn't protect our stay from guests breaking the rules. Three vacation nights were spoiled by disturbances they knew about and failed to address. I wouldn't stay again, and would recommend it only if you're willing to gamble on other guests' behavior without reliable management backup.
