SpringHill Suites by Marriott Phoenix West/Avondale

After years of coming to the area, I took this hotel off my Google tag list. I've stayed there only once, but I won't return. They seem to think a room for one night is worth $300 or more, and I find that hard to understand. I've traveled all over the U.S. and stayed in 3.5-star to 5-star hotels in major cities; I don't think I've ever paid that much for a room. I've stayed at plenty of better hotels, and I'm trying to be honest, not sarcastic. I already have a place in the valley that I visit regularly, and generations of my family have stayed there because it's the only one I trust. I'm willing to give places a chance, but after years of disappointment with this hotel, I'm giving all my business to that other chain. I'm a Marriott Bonvoy, IHG, and Drury Inn member, and I'll keep giving them my business. Just not this hotel. Good luck. I can legitimately say...

The rooms were clean, and I liked the sofa with the under-bed. Most of the guests seemed to be traveling for business, while I was there with family. Our room was missing some amenities, but when I went to the front desk, the woman went up herself to put them in the room. She didn't have to do that, and I really appreciated it. She was hardworking and amazing. Thanks for the great customer service, keep it up.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast bar had enough options. After a long day of travel, I was exhausted, but Jamila at the front desk made the start of my stay easy and welcoming. She was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, making sure my needs were met and that I felt valued. She made a real difference. I had a wonderful stay at SpringHill Suites Avondale and highly recommend it.

The front desk woman was nice and even gave me a birthday card. I was there for one night for a nearby rave. I did find hair on the shower floor and tucked into one of the fresh towels, but everything else was clean. They offer free breakfast, though I didn't get to try it.
