Mountain Haven - Off Market

Snowmobile trails start right at the driveway, and there's plenty of room to park all your gear. The cabin feels quiet and peaceful, while still being close to everything Pittsburg has to offer. It has comfortable beds, is clean, and comes with all the kitchen tools and cookware we needed to make a meal at home.

Mountain Haven was a beautiful place to stay during our hiking trip around Pittsburg. We loved the home. The front deck was nice, and the location kept things quiet while leaving us close enough for shopping or a meal out. The pellet stoves kept us cozy when the temperature dropped and unexpected snow came in. There were just two of us, so we didn't use the other bedrooms upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs bedroom had plenty of clothing storage and a cozy heated king bed. On the main floor, there was lots of room, a huge well-equipped kitchen, a large dining area, and a full bathroom with laundry. The front of the cabin had three separate spots to lounge, watch the big smart TV, read quietly, or take in the view.

We spent a week at Mountain Haven in March 2021, and there was still snow. The secluded log home sits on 20 acres, reached by 300 yards of maintained dirt road before the driveway. The pictures matched the house, which was beautiful, spacious, and felt like a home away from home. Our family of four could have brought friends along and had plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. Leigh and Judy provided almost everything we needed for the vacation, and they're tremendous, super friendly hosts. They suggested places to eat and activities, and answered any questions I had. Snowmobiling is well worth doing, the trails are amazing, and you might even see a moose. It was my third time at Mountain Haven and I still haven't seen one, but maybe next time. I couldn't ask for a more perfect home for a week or weekend away with family or friends, close to nature. I'd highly recommend it.

Private and tucked away, but still super convenient to the trails and local restaurants. This is the coziest cabin I've stayed in, and a one-of-a-kind luxury experience in Pittsburg.
