The lobby is grand, and the staff were very helpful. My suite was gloriously spacious, with a comfy bed, plenty of outlets, and a nice big bathroom. The property has a historic feel, so the decor may not be the most modern. It's centrally located, with several spots nearby for a drink or a bite. Just keep in mind the pastry shop isn't open every day or all day.

The lobby is beautiful, and the room was clean. It had complimentary water, a small Keurig with real mugs, a mini fridge, and a full closet. The bathroom was clean too, with strong water pressure. There wasn't any room service, though. And the bathroom sign warning guests not to take the soap was pretty cringe. Those soaps definitely aren't worth $70. Maybe they could chain them down? Haha.

The room was quiet and spotless, with classic character and modern comfort, and housekeeping kept the hotel impressively clean throughout. Meals were another highlight: the food was excellent, and the attentive service made dining feel like part of the stay. The staff were consistently warm and professional, and we felt appreciated. As returning guests, we especially noticed the room upgrade and welcome gift of two coffee mugs, milk, and cookies. The grand lobby is full of charm and sophistication, and at Christmas its decorations and warm festive glow make it feel magical. Omni William Penn Hotel is a beautifully maintained Pittsburgh classic. With gracious service, lovely surroundings, good dining, and thoughtful recognition of returning guests, it offers great value for an upscale historic hotel. We look forward to coming back.

Our rehearsal dinner here was a highlight. The food was incredible, the service was great, and the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room block was reasonably priced, and the rooms looked lovely. We had some trouble communicating with staff about reserving our wedding night suite, but in the end we got a different suite that was still nice and large enough for guests. The staff also left us thoughtful wedding gifts. We had a really good experience at the Omni.

The ballroom was exquisite, with amazing chandeliers and beautiful wedding decorations. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the beds felt like sleeping on a cloud. You need a room key to use the elevators, which gave us a sense of security since only guests and staff could go up to the rooms. From arriving at the door through checkout, everything was above board. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive to our needs. We absolutely loved the Omni William Penn.
