Quality Inn & Suites Plano

We had enough parking for all the rooms, though a sign says they aren't responsible if anything happens to your vehicle. The front desk clerks were polite and offered good service, apart from some of the cleaning ladies. We were there for a week, and housekeeping missed our room twice, even though we were out all afternoon. We had to call for fresh towels, help with a broken hairdryer, and help getting the TV set up. The room was clean otherwise, but there was hair left in some drawers, and it had a stale smell that we had to air out by opening the windows. At check-in, they required a deposit of $50 or more, which they hadn't mentioned when booking, and said it would go back to the bank account in three business days. Breakfast was good, but the same few choices every day got old after three days. It's a decent spot for a couple of nights, but I'm not sure about a full week.

After my 12-hour night shift as a first responder in bad weather, I needed somewhere to stay. The man at the front desk got me a room at 6am and made it work for me. He was a lifesaver, since I couldn't have made it home safely on those roads after being up all night. I highly recommend this place and will be back.

The king suite was nice, clean, and well kept, with a comfortable bed, though the room smelled like it had been shut up for a while. The staff were okay. We skipped the free breakfast because it's usually garbage, so I can't say how it was. I'd rather they take out the trash and make the bed each day than serve the stuff they try to get people to eat.

The breakfast was good, with eggs, sausage, waffles, and muffins, and everything was clean. There was a kid running around in the room above mine, but the receptionist dealt with it right away. The staff were helpful and hospitable even before I arrived. I called to ask about early check-in and they said it should be possible. They let me in around 1pm, and my room was ready.
