Staybridge Suites Plano North - Frisco by IHG

I came here with my toddler after a stressful day, hoping for somewhere safe to stay, and Priscilla was so kind. She made sure my son and I got a clean room and helped me feel welcome. She was efficient and helpful, and managed to get things done when others couldn’t. I can’t thank her enough. I felt safe and settled enough that I wanted to stay another night. The bed was comfortable, and my son slept like a baby. I’ll keep recommending this place because of how kind and helpful she was.

Social hour was nice, and the breakfast was clean and good every day. The staff were great, and when they weren’t busy they were cleaning. This was as clean as anywhere I’ve stayed, and the location worked perfectly for me. A very pleasant experience.

This was probably the worst Staybridge I’ve stayed at. The property is tired, the floor AC unit was extremely loud, and the water pressure felt like it was from the 1960s, with water that was barely lukewarm. The franchisee doesn’t seem to care. At 8 pm we waited 25 minutes to check in because two people ahead of us wanted to speak with a manager, and the evening desk clerk couldn’t reach anyone. When it was our turn, they’d given away the suite we paid extra for, so they put us in a single queen room and said we could move the next day. The next day, the General Manager said they had no king rooms available, let alone the suite, and wouldn’t offer a credit. The desk clerk was also confused about our reservation and claimed there was a Mastercard on file, even though we’d prepaid with Chase rewards. They still charged our card more than $500. The morning clerk was confused too, so we called Chase, who eventually got the charge reversed.

I’ve stayed at a few hotels around Frisco, and this one is nicely located with great staff. Shawna greeted me warmly with a big smile when I walked in. I’ll keep staying here.
