The grounds are beautiful, with tropical trees and a little stream, plus a pool and hot tub. The location is hard to beat for my Kaua’i trip, within walking distance of Kukui’ula Shopping Village, several beaches, great restaurants, a golf course, and nearby resorts. The condo felt spacious and homey, with a full kitchen, lots of counter space and cooking utensils, a dining area, living room, two TVs, washer and dryer, and a huge master bedroom and bathroom. There was no AC in our unit, but the many screen doors kept a breeze moving through. Check-in and checkout were easy. Wow, this was the perfect place to stay, and I’d choose it again and again.
The staff were lovely, and the unit was clean when we arrived with lots of room to spread out. It’s near the shops, grocery store, and Poipu beach, and there’s a beautiful pool on the grounds with a bbq available. There’s no a/c, but we were fine with the windows open since the breeze moves right through. We’ll be back.
We had a fantastic week at Waikomo Stream Villas #432 and would happily come back. Though it’s centrally located in Poipu Beach, the property feels tucked away, quiet, and private. The beach is walkable, but we drove most times because we had so much to carry. The lanai was gorgeous, and it was handy to have beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella. Inside, everything was clean and spacious, the bed was really comfortable, and the kitchen had what we needed. We also appreciated the in-unit laundry and detergent, lots of fans for drying things overnight, plenty of parking, and the door lock box instead of having to carry a key.
The grounds are gorgeous, with big trees, lizards, birds, chickens, and a koi pond. We loved the outdoorsy feel. Our top-floor residence, unit #432, felt open and secluded, and was clean with everything working. It was close to everything we came for, about 1/2 mile to Poipu and just a stone’s throw from Kahuna beach. Parking was easy, usually one of the first three stalls was available. We stayed a week, and the service and facility were both great.
