Comfort Inn & Suites Port Arthur-Port Neches

Check-in was seamless thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable, and even exceeded my expectations. I especially enjoyed the pool and fitness center. There were also plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions. Overall.

The parking lot had trash all through my stay, and repairs were clearly needed in the lobby and rooms. Getting help was nearly impossible. One time I had a problem and rang the bell and called hello for 30 minutes without an answer. The card reader on my door kept failing, so I had to repeatedly ask someone to fix it. When no one was around, I could only leave the door stopper out and wait. I was locked out multiple times because of this. Worst experience ever. Do not stay here. I won’t return.

The staff were friendly and the linen was very clean, but the rooms weren’t cleaned well. I found glasses beside the nightstand, socks and men’s underwear on the desk chair, and mold in the bathtub and on the AC unit. I didn’t take photos. I don’t think I’ll book there again.

For a Comfort Inn, this was horrible. They should call it motel 6. You can see why it’s cheap: the AC didn’t work right, there were holes in the bed sheets, the laundry didn’t work, and breakfast was horrible. Worst of all, they don’t care about customers’ feedback or these bad reviews, and won’t do anything to fix the problems.
