Courtyard by Marriott Portland City Center

We arrived late at night, and Cody at the front desk gave us stellar service. He was one of the kindest, most hospitable hotel staff members we’ve met. The rooms were clean and spacious, with big windows looking out over the city. There’s also a lovely little cafe just a few minutes away on foot, with delicious coffee. The hotel has a beautiful location and a warm feel. I can’t recommend it enough.

My ninth-floor room had a great city view and a warm feel, and it was spacious. The location was excellent too. Powell's Book store, the waterfront Park, and Portland union station were all close enough to walk to. I had a pleasant stay, and the front desk staff were always warm and welcoming.

The bathroom was huge, and the shower was incredibly soothing. My room on the 14th floor was massive, with a little loveseat and a big, comfortable bed. There was a small entry hallway, plus a mini-fridge with a coffee maker above it and its own light. The desk had an extra table that pulled out. Probably the fanciest place I’ve stayed.

The location put us right in the heart of beautiful downtown Portland, close to everything. We were in town for a concert at Revolution Hall across the river, and now I’m excited to come back. Caleb at the front desk deserves a special mention. He was great with customer service and recommended Java Man, where I got really good coffee. Our valet attendants, Gerald and Ahmed, also impressed us. My husband and I stayed last night, and the staff made the visit comfortable and delightful. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and they graciously gave us a later checkout than we’ve had at any other hotel. Thank you all. We’ll definitely be back.
