The windows were the main drawback. They look out onto a tent and the walkway outside the room, so privacy isn't great and you'll want the blinds closed. Sound also carried through them and the room wasn't well insulated. Otherwise, it was a good stay for a reasonable price, with a great location and service. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the temperature control worked well. The shower got hot and had good pressure. I'd be glad to return when I'm in the area.

A nice boutique hotel on Portland's Eastside, close to bars, coffee shops, and places to eat. The room was clean and smelled good, and the service was excellent. Someone was always at the lobby desk, and whenever I called during the night, the front desk picked up right away. I'd definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect for us, close to the events we wanted to attend, with a convenience store around the corner and good food nearby. The Euro place next door was amazing. The staff at the other hotel were nice, but I wish I'd realized this one was more like a motel, with staff based across the street. If you need anything, you have to walk over there or text the service number. Parking costs extra, and the rates were higher than what I'd been told by phone just three weeks before: $20 a night for the gated area or $40 for the garage. The room had a cute painting, a big full-length mirror, and a chalkboard door, which was fun. Beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. It's clean, but that's about it for amenities: no microwave, water, coffee, or ironing board. There's almost nowhere to put clothes, just around five hangers and a tiny rack. They provide an ice bucket and two cups. You can ask the other hotel for some items. The shower heads were tall, which we appreciated as taller people, though the water pressure could be better. The walls had no soundproofing at all. We could hear the exact conversations from the room above us. Luckily, the place didn't seem too busy, and we were out most of the time and only used the room to sleep, so there wasn't much partying. Our room was on the bottom floor, facing a large outdoor seating area. I worried about people coming in from the street, but security made rounds at night and we felt safe. It could be awful if there were a wedding or other event there, though. On Saturday around 8 AM, an employee was pressure washing right outside our room, which was really annoying.

The cleaning crew did an impeccable job. I don't know if I've ever had a cleaner hotel room, and mine was quiet and really cute too. I'd asked for a quieter room before arriving and they accommodated me without any fuss. They also upgraded me to a king room, which was as comfortable as sleeping at home. The staff were so welcoming and kind, and I felt completely safe walking by myself to and from the Moda Center after the concert. It was my first time in Portland, and I can't wait to come back.

Easy check-in, clean and hip, and in a convenient spot. The doors have chalkboard paint, so you can leave a message or draw something. Fun touch.
