Rodeway Inn Pueblo

I've had a better stay here before, and I know it's the busy season, so I'll change my review if my next visit is nicer. This time our room was full of bugs. It looked like it had been tidied up quickly, but not really cleaned. The overnight staff were flat-out rude, and the night staff were brisk. At least the woman there in the morning was nice.

No stars, more like minus five. For three days I've been trying to get my room cleaned. They make the beds, but the bathroom doesn't get cleaned. When I told the maintenance guy the toilet wasn't working, he said he doubted I found it that way. How dare he? The maid took a whole day to clean one room. There are lots of druggies and hookers around all day. And, great, they didn't even change the sheets or try to clean the bathroom. Stay away!

The stay was great, and I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a good price. My room was clean and in order, and when I woke up late, the staff kindly understood and gave me a little extra time to gather myself and my belongings. Everyone was polite and answered my questions. I also spoke with the manager, who was understanding, respectful, and had a great attitude. Five stars, day and night!

It was a good price, the room was clean, and the staff were helpful. The details were rough: the fitted sheet was inside out, the window curtain hung crooked, the tub drained slowly, and the toilet seat had no lid. You get what you pay for. This isn't a swanky place, but I'd stay again if I were in the area because it's affordable.
