I arrived for my booking and found the lobby locked and empty. I called twice, and both calls went to voicemail. I didn't have time to wait, so I booked nearby at Comfort Inn and Suites instead. When I called the next day, I was told a sign on the door directed guests to check in at the neighboring motel, Clarion. I didn't see one, and the photos I took show no sign. They blamed me and wouldn't refund the $50, so I guess that's my loss. On the other hand, I didn't stay at a motel with six homeless people in the lot, so I suppose that was a win.

The room was basic but not bad. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked, though the TV remote wasn't programmed for the TV. My main complaint was the shower: there was hair on the soap holder and wall, and the water pressure was weak. Apart from that, I don't have complaints. It was quiet, although there were some sketchy people around. There was no one in the lobby, so you probably have to check in at the Clarion. No breakfast here, but you can buy the Clarion buffet for, I think, $7 per person, which isn't bad. There's no grass, so keep that in mind if you have a dog.

Vagrants are all over this place, crossing the interstate and Elizabeth recklessly and without consequences. Local businesses have had to lock their restrooms because of them. This place has taken the Valu Stay's spot. Shut it down.

The room had only a table and two barstools, which made it very uncomfortable. The TV didn't work, and Clark at the front desk refused to do anything about it. She said she was putting in and didn't care anyway. The customer service was horrible. They obviously don't care about guests, so stay clear of this place.

It feels like you're entering a third-world country. Watch out if you have kids, they could fall into the potholes and never be seen again.
