Do Rest Court

Another great stay at the Do Rest. Rob and Kathleen are so accommodating and got us everything we needed, even making dinner reservations for us. We had a special Friday night bonfire out back with some lovely guests. Great people and memories are why we always return. See you next year, Rob!

Over the last 26 years, my husband and I have been here many times, from our honeymoon to our latest anniversary. It feels like a home away from home, and nothing changing is exactly what we like. Seeing Rob and his beautiful wife every year feels like a family reunion. We enjoy relaxing by the fire with nice music on nights without wind or storms. Housekeeping keeps the cabins spotless and goes out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Rob knows the best local places to eat, with the best food. It’s a great place to unplug and relax, though you can stay connected if you want. You’re right on the trolley line, which comes every 20-25 minutes and runs to the village. That’s handy if you’re only going there for a few hours and don’t want to pay for parking all day. The prices are always great too. The Village is minutes away in one direction and the outlets are minutes away in the other.

Rob and Kathleen and their staff were amazing. They drove around in a golf cart to ask if we needed anything or if they could make our stay better. The cabins were spotless, and I’m very particular about cleanliness. They strip the beds completely, including removing and washing the coverlets and quilts. The service and accommodations far exceeded my expectations. We rented three cabins for the weekend of June 25th, our first time at the DO REST. Rob spent lots of time helping us choose the right cabin when we booked, and our three-night stay was superb. We couldn’t have found a better place, staff, or service. The location made getting around easy, with everything within about 10 minutes. Our room was just right for a vacation, without too much technology pulling us away from what was around us. The pool was clean and refreshing, too. Rob even helped me replace a turn signal light when it went out. He was a huge help. Already trying to plan our next stay, 10/10.
