Tall Pines Motel

We booked at the last minute last night, and they were able to fit us in. Brad was understanding when we asked about the Google prices, and he shared lots of information about the area, including maple syrup farms after we asked. Since we wanted to try the sauna and jacuzzi, he kindly set them up earlier than usual, even though most people had already checked out for Labor Day weekend. He also offered pool towels and coffee, and showed us how to use the sauna since we were first timers. Brad is an absolute saint and made our experience much better. The heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi, BBQ grills, and all the places to relax made this an amazing motel for a Lake George vacation. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

We loved the coffee and cedar smell in the office when we arrived. It reminded me of my mother's cabin at camp. The owners were pleasant, knew the area well, and gave us helpful suggestions for things to do. This has a true Adirondack feel, with Six Flags and Lake george village both nearby. A trolly passes often and takes you to the village and other local activities, so you're in the middle of the action while still getting a private Adirondack stay. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub on both days, though we didn't get to try the sauna room. We also cooked on the brand new BBQ/smoker beside the fire pit they provide. We really enjoyed our stay.

The owner and his son were friendly and very accommodating, and the room was clean. There's a nice pool and two grills for cooking your own food. I think the location is just right, not too close to the strip by the lake and not too far away. This place is a gem. There was so much I liked that I can't list it all!

Allen, the owner, was awesome. My girlfriend and I stayed this past weekend, and even though we're in our 20’s, it felt like home. Simple, but amazing. The pool and hot tub were terrific addition and worked really well. Allen and his son made the office by hand, and it was great talking with Allen. Tall Pines is super friendly and we highly recommend it. Keep up the good work!
