Hyatt House Raleigh North Hills

We stayed Friday night while our car was being fixed at BMW of Raleigh. The location worked perfectly, especially since we needed somewhere walkable. The two men working yesterday were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and the customer service was great. We found the room comfortable and will definitely stay here when we’re back in town.

Christina was very accommodating when I checked in one evening about two weeks ago, even while I was waiting for my card company to sort out an issue at the desk. The staff are welcoming and hospitable, and the room was spacious with everything needed in the kitchenette. It felt like a mini apartment, with an amazing view of Midtown Park. The location is excellent, with a grocery store across the street, shops, cafes, and restaurants nearby, and Target about a ten-minute walk away. The on-site laundry was larger than I expected and useful for my long stay. There’s a small 24-hour gym with everything you’d need for a good workout. Complimentary breakfast rotates between pancakes, waffles, and French toast, which I loved. Probably the best Hyatt I hotel I’ve stayed at.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times as a family and plan to keep coming back. It’s a great mix of comfort, affordability, convenience, and value, and the staff are SO NICE. The front desk is always friendly and helpful. If you have a request, just ask; they can take care of it promptly about 90% of the time. The rooms have been spacious, clean, and comfortable every visit. Even the smallest option could probably sleep four to six people comfortably, and we haven’t had a bad room yet. Requests for the room have been handled within an hour. Breakfast is included, with the usual basics plus one or two stations changing each day. There’s also a grocery store and plenty of restaurants around, so food choices are easy.

We had a reservation problem because the only room type left wasn’t available. Stacey at the front desk and the manager quickly came up with a plan and got us into another room. Stacey was a rockstar. The room was beautiful, very clean, and had everything we needed. The location is excellent, right off the highway. Harris Teeter is next door, and Yard House had excellent food. Try the new Barking Dog restaurant, and hang out on the green space beside the hotel.
