For a hotel charging around $400 a night, I expected much more care for the guest experience. The rooms feel dated and poorly laid out, with uncomfortable, impractical furniture. I also found the decor off-putting. Some of the artwork felt creepy, and each room had a dusty, dirty birdhouse with cracked or faded plastic parts. It made the room feel neglected. The restaurant and food seemed like an afterthought. There were no grab-and-go breakfast choices like yogurt, protein shakes, or even basic fresh fruit. The coffee setup was very limited and had no non-dairy creamer, which seems like a basic expectation at this price in 2026. The bar was understaffed, so service took a very long time. That wasn’t the bartenders’ fault: they worked hard and stayed professional, but there weren’t enough people scheduled for the number of guests. The stay fell far short of what I’d expect at this price.
