We'd stay here again. The room was comfortable, the kitchen was nicely stocked, the bathroom was clean, breakfast was good, and the location worked well for the highways. Our arrival around 9:30 PM was uncomfortable, though. No one was at the front desk, and we waited at least five minutes. A very nice gentleman eventually came in, smelling like he'd just returned from a smoke break, and checked us in quickly. He had no uniform or name tag and didn't ask for our ID. That part put us off.

Kellen's breakfast this morning was wonderful, and the breakfast area was clean and had plenty of food. The whole team communicates and serves guests really well. You can tell they take pride in their work and the place.

We went for one night, 10/18-10/19, and we're definitely coming back. I usually avoid hotels that allow pets because of the dander, but this place was so, so clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and both the bathroom and well-stocked kitchen were very clean too. I hope the hotel we stay at in Chicago this November is just as good.

I won't stay at this TownePlace again. The ownership here charges a one-night penalty for checking out early, no matter how long you've stayed or whether you've given 24 hours' notice. I hadn't had trouble with early checkout before, even as a business traveler who usually earns Diamond status with Hilton and Titanium with Marriott each year. On an earlier stay, a colleague was charged the penalty and I assumed it was because he tried to leave that same morning. Now I know it's their policy regardless of notice. Business plans change. This place is also usually more expensive than the other hotels nearby, and the ownership doesn't seem to care about actual business travelers. Stay elsewhere.
