Deluxe Inn Redwood City

We found a new go-to place for driving through San Fran. We got a great rate at the last minute, and the spot had just been remodeled and looked great. Everything was clean and tidy, perfect for a quick trip. Management was kind and professional, and quick to respond even with our awkward travel schedule. We’ll absolutely come back on future trips.

The room was so bright at night. A floodlight shone straight in, making it feel like daylight outside, and the wooden blinds didn’t block the light. They looked nice, but weren’t much help against the construction lighting or whatever that bright light was. The place was under construction and still seemed to have a long way to go. An updated room needs more work. GPS sent us on a bit of a wacky route to get there. The trains and other noise were okay, and it was quiet overall. The price was good for the area, and it was close to the airport, our next stop the following day. I might consider staying again once construction is finished.

The rooms are clean, and the renovation is moving along. Staff are friendly and helpful. It’s quite okay for the location and price. Sure, it isn’t a Hampton or Double Tree, but you’d pay 3-4 times as much. I’d go back or recommend it to someone looking for a nice room in a decent neighborhood at a reasonable price.

The staff were very friendly, and they offered to let us use another room’s shower when ours had no hot water. The rooms were adequate, but dirty. The sheets didn’t fit the bed, and the comforter was old and worn. There were other issues too. The hotel was under construction while we were there, building a new office. I won’t stay there again.
