Dom at the front desk made my daughter’s birthday stay feel special. She was welcoming, helpful, and even put together a bag of goodies for her. The room was tidy and very clean, and we found the pool clean and comfortable too. We had a wonderful stay and will recommend it.

We liked how easy it was to make a quick meal in the room, with a well-equipped kitchen that even had dish soap. There are two restaurants and a bar on site for nights when you don’t want to cook, and Seven downstairs was a nice surprise, with friendly staff, creative cocktails, and a good vibe. The location is convenient too, about a 10-minute walk to Reston Town Center for shopping and dining. The included breakfast was fresh and well stocked, thanks to attentive staff. There’s plenty of room to eat, with tables and lounge seating. The property opened about a year ago and still feels clean and well cared for. The rooms are spacious, with lots of storage, a large desk, and a cleverly placed vanity near the closet. The bathroom has good counter space and quality toiletries, but the half-wall shower can make it steamy, and a weak fan can leave it a bit chilly. It’s a modern, thoughtfully designed place with the comfort of a hotel and the convenience of an Airbnb-style stay. Works for a short visit or a longer one. Highly recommend.

The rooftop bar is beautiful, and the hotel has a sleek, modern look. Our one-bedroom suite was spotless and roomy, with everything we needed for a longer stay. The beds were really comfortable, and nights were quiet. Staff at the front desk, housekeeping, and bar were all courteous and helpful. Breakfast was very good, with different hot dishes each day. Great stay!

The lack of heat was the main problem, and it made me hate this hotel. We spent 24 hours without heat. Earlier in the day the room was 64-65, and when the heat finally came back, the new room took hours to warm up. My husband had set it to 69 four hours earlier and I was still cold. I asked for two blankets and got one regular blanket and a crib blanket. I had to sleep in 60-degree temperatures, then get up at 5 a.m. to shower. I told the front desk, but didn’t get an update until I returned at 11 p.m., while my husband and kids were upstairs waiting. They offered us another room, but our little kids were asleep, and we had three suitcases and food in the fridge. I’d already worked 16 hours and had to be up at 5 the next day. I had to call three times over two hours to get blankets and pillows for the pullout sofa. Dom, when she was working, did a good job with customer service. I can’t say the same about her shift replacement. The restaurant downstairs was another disappointment. We ordered two hamburgers and a salad with chicken. It was overpriced and unseasoned, and the chicken was dry. I expected better. We booked Saturday through Wednesday during the snowstorm so I could be closer to work: a high-floor king suite with a city view for $274 a night, plus tax and fees. The lobby and common areas look nice, and I liked the design. The front desk person on Saturday and Sunday night was nice, and the underground parking and in-room refrigerator were convenient. Next weekend we’ll try the Hyatt Regency. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if it’s cold, you have kids, or you need to stay more than a couple of days.

The location worked well for a nearby Valentine’s Day getaway. My wife and I are fairly new to the area, and the hotel is across the street from Cooper’s Hawk and several other restaurants. We didn’t get around to trying breakfast or the other amenities, but we loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, nice place in Reston. Our room was spacious, modern, and very clean. Housekeeping came while we were getting dressed, and by the time we returned later, the room was spotless and the towels had been replenished. The front desk clerk was helpful at checkout and explained the hotel’s amenities. Parking under the hotel was convenient, especially since bad weather wasn’t an issue.
