I especially liked the cozy bed, fresh linens, and the little touches that made it welcoming. The bathroom was clean and had what I needed. Lydia at the front desk was friendly and helpful, and made check-in smooth. The staff were attentive throughout. The room was better than I expected for the price, and I'd happily stay again and recommend it to anyone after a relaxing stay.

I’m still waiting on the $200 incidental fees I paid, two weeks later. This all happened after I arrived at 12:30 a.m. on Feb 6th, worn out from a long work flight and expecting to check in. The desk clerk said I couldn’t get a room until 3 p.m. that day, then suggested I book at the desk for Feb 5th-6th. I agreed, paying $107 for five hours plus a $100 incidental fee. He also said I could keep my online reservation and stay “another day.” When I went back to explain this to the manager, she asked for another $100 incidental fee for that next day and kept repeating the charge instead of listening. So I paid $107 plus $100, then $87 for the online booking plus another $100, all in one day. This feels greedy, and the customer service needs work.

Jemini is a saint, patient and personable, and deserves a huge pay raise. I’m here about once a month, and I like seeing the decorations change with the holidays and seasons. It helps it feel like a home away from home. The hotel is clean, the water gets hot, and the prices are very reasonable. I can’t comment on the food since I’m already at work when it’s available. I only rated the location a 3 because there isn’t much around besides niche places, and getting to them can mean a drive in traffic depending on what you’re looking for. City line has plenty, but it’s not really my thing. For good BBQ nearby, Texas smokehouse is close, and worth a visit.

I enjoy staying here every time. The rooms are simple, nice, and clean, and you can get a balcony if you ask. Breakfast isn’t included, but it’s pet friendly and only minutes from the highway. For the price, location, and service, it’s great.
