The owners of The Blue Heron are gracious and friendly, and the meeting space was comfortable, spotless, and nicely decorated. Through the windows you can see barns, fields, trees, grazing goats, and flowers. I attended an all-day retreat led by Lisa Maas, where they served a bountiful country breakfast and lunch with homemade breads. Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another thing, they brought out amazing pumpkin dessert. I wish I’d had time to explore the area in walking shoes. I left feeling full in body and spirit. Thanks, Liz and Connie, for a wonderful day!

The Blue Heron hosts are what I cherished most about the week. They made me feel welcome and comfortable. After staying there for a week, I felt like a new woman. The atmosphere is peaceful, quiet, and relaxing, and the gourmet breakfasts are delicious and so hearty I wasn’t hungry again until dinner.

The grounds were beautiful, and getting there was easy. I had an awesome day taking part in goat yoga at the B&B.
