Diamond Inn and Suites

The room was dirty when we arrived, the shower had missing tiles and looked unclean, and a large puddle had collected under the sink because it was leaking. I would've asked for a refund, but old signs in the lobby said there were no refunds after check-in. I called several days before our stay to confirm the reservation and got no response. Seeing two on-duty officers in the lobby also made for a poor first impression. If you're looking for a cheap room, don't stay here. It's disgusting.

I was there for almost three months. The room was clean and didn't smell bad, and the shower water was always nice and hot. The microwave was clean and worked, the fridge was fine, and the freezer made ice quickly with the tray I bought. They provided plenty of towels and toilet paper when I needed them. The AC quit after my first two weeks, but I bought a cheap fan and managed fine. Without that AC problem, I'd rate the place five stars.

The room was in rough shape from top to bottom. There were holes in the bedsheets and insects crawling in the bed. The shower curtain had visible mold, and the microwave was missing its plate. The fridge was unstable without its supporting plates. I also saw construction patches and unfinished work, pen or marker marks on the bathroom door, and cracks in both the lamp and the bed. I have pictures of these problems. It was a disgusting, disappointing stay, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. The place gave me no confidence that management cared about cleanliness or comfort. Avoid it.

We checked in 3/22 and left 3/26. The outside wasn't very clean, and inside the rooms weren't clean either. The shower curtains were very dirty, trash sat unemptied for several days, and people were sleeping on the stairs. We didn't deal with staff much. We had to pay twice, which was odd since we'd confirmed the length of our stay at check-in. If you pay more than once, your key has to be reactivated.
